I was born at a very early age in 1951. I reside in Morgantown, West Virginia.

I grew up watching the old Sea Hunt series on TV and was interested in scuba diving ever since watching Mike Nelson (Lloyd Bridges) get narced, bent, sucked into intake pipes, or get his hoses cut every week. I began freediving in 1978. In 1992 I finally took the plunge and began my Scuba Diving education with my local dive shop.

I fell instantly in love with Scuba and bought a complete set of gear before my open water certification dives. My enthusiasm with diving compelled me to continue my education and in 1994 I became a PADI Openwater Scuba Instructor. I am not currently teaching scuba, my career does not allow me the time at this point. I do manage to average around 90-100 fun dives (non-training) a year, most of my diving being done in lakes, rivers, creeks, and mud puddles here in West Virginia. My wife, Lindemarie shares my love of diving and we manage to squeeze in one or two dive vacations a year to destinations such as Cozumel, Curacao, and Bonaire to name a few.

Help me go on another diving vacation:
